Introduction to Silver Jewellery workshop £60
3 hours.
Sophie will guide you to create your own unique piece of jewellery; learn how to cut, file, sand and polish silver to create a pendant necklace and pair of drop earrings from a 3x3cm piece of sheet silver.
There will be demonstrations and examples of jewellery in different styles to look at. You will have access to your own bench peg and saw and other shared tools. You will learn different effects using a variety of hammers and steel blocks.
You will get the chance to practice on a piece of copper before you tackle your finished piece.
What will I go home with?
A finished sterling silver necklace, sterling silver drop earrings and polishing cloth.
All materials on the workshop are provided.
You will go home with completed pieces of jewellery.
No previous skills are required!
Please bring an apron to protect clothing and catch falling silver.
Silver ring workshop £50
2 hours.
Sophie will guide you to create your own unique piece of jewellery; learn how to cut, file, sand and polish silver to create a single band ring.
There will be demonstrations and examples of jewellery in different styles to look at. You will have access to your own bench peg and saw and other shared tools.
What will I go home with?
A finished sterling silver ring and polishing cloth.

You will go home with a completed piece of jewellery.

Silver bangle and copper charm workshop £80
3 hours.
Sophie will guide you to create your own unique piece of jewellery; learn how to cut, file, sand and polish silver and copper to create a single bangle with charm.
There will be demonstrations and examples of jewellery in different styles to look at. You will have access to your own bench peg and saw and other shared tools.
What will I go home with?
A finished sterling silver bangle with dangly copper charm and polishing cloth.
